The Kelton Hook Tool is designed specifically
for use with today's high speed lathes, but based on the well-proven
concept of traditional hook tools. This unique tool eliminates
dig-ins when used correctly. Clamping tension on the tang
can be adjusted in the "learning mode" so that should
a catch occur, the tang will rotate down in the shank, dropping
the cutting edge away from the wood. With a shear cutting
action it can be used to cut in either an inward or outward
direction to leave a fine finish. The 13mm ( ½")
tip is supplied with a rigid steel shank 250mm x16mm (5/8"
diameter x 10" long) which fits the Kelton
ER Handles or the Kelton
KH2, KH3 or KH4 handles (handles sold separately). Please
